It’s getting towards the end of the week and there isn’t a lot left in the cupboard.
So time to go down to the vegetable garden to see what there is that I can use for dinner tonight.
I came back with a big bunch of Silver Beet, parsley and spring onions as well as collecting a couple of lemons from the tree as I walked back to the house.
The great thing about a garden is that you can always find something to use that is fresh and tasty.
I’ll use the frozen pastry, add some cheese and use the fresh eggs our neighbours left us this morning. A touch of nutmeg and pepper and salt and we will have spinach pie.
The pie was just perfect!
Warm and tasty and so simple to make.
